The month we have anticipated all year.....April, the beginning of Spring and most importantly our Healthy Living Month at Hawthorn Academy!!
We will be having events going on all month long. Attached is a link to the HOPE Website which will allow you to print out the following important dates and forms for your children to participate in during this month.

1. Fun Run Registration Form. Our Fun Run will be held on Saturday, April 27th at Hawthorn Academy. 2013 Entry Fees: $7 per person or $35 per family (up to six members) $10 per person flat rate the day of the race.
2. Sponsorship Form. This year we have added a new twist to our Fun Run. You can now get family members, friends and neighbors to sponsor you in the race. This will count towards your entry fee as well! There will be extra prizes for everyone that collects more than $50 from
sponsors. There will also be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for those students that earn the
most money overall! You won’t want to miss out on these prizes!

3. Healthy Living Activity Calendar. This calendar helps you earn points each day by participating in the various activities listed. Your points will earn you raffle tickets for FABULOUS PRIZES at our Healthy Living Fair on Saturday April 27th and if you complete the entire calendar you earn a sneaker charm!
We will be concluding this with our Annual Healthy Living Fair and Fun Run on Saturday, April 27th. You WON'T want to miss out. We have some excellent booths and vendors that want to show and teach you how to live a healthy lifestyle. Everything from Gardening, Exercise, Blood Pressure Screening, Living Green and Being Safe. There are going to be fun Raffle Prizes and everyone will get a chance to participate in some hands-on events. Please plan to bring your family, friends, and neighbors.
